What and why:

We're introducing a new Events message filter in Outlook that helps users quickly find calendar invitations and event-related messages in their mailbox. Users can select Events from the filter drop-down menu to view meeting invitations and related event communications in one place.

This update helps users more easily locate meeting requests, stay organized, and respond to invitations in a timely manner.

Rollout schedule:

  • General Availability (Worldwide): Rollout will begin in late August 2026 and is expected to complete by late September 2026.
  • General Availability (GCC): Rollout will begin in late August 2026 and is expected to complete by late September 2026.
  • General Availability (GCC High): Rollout will begin in late August 2026 and is expected to complete by late September 2026.

After this rollout:
