Outlook for Mac will support Microsoft Purview Data Loss Prevention \(DLP\) wait\-on\-send policies. Organizations can require a DLP evaluation before an email is sent and configure how long users must wait for policy evaluation to complete. This helps ensure sensitive information is inspected against organizational policies before messages leave the organization while providing administrators with flexible control over the user experience.
Rollout schedule:
General Availability (Worldwide, GCC, GCC High, DoD): We will begin rolling out late September 2026 and expect to complete by late September 2026.
