Details

Updated July 23, 2024: We have updated the rollout timeline below. Thank you for your patience.

In Microsoft Outlook for the Web and new Outlook for Windows, when viewing multiple calendars in Month view, users will be able to select Split view to see the calendars displayed side by side.

When this will happen:

General Availability (Worldwide): We will begin rolling out early June 2024 and expect to complete by early August 2024 (previously early July).

This message is associated with Microsoft 365 Roadmap ID 396727

How this will affect your organization:

Split view is already provided in Day, Week, and Work Week views. It will now be available in Month view as well. Note that multiple calendars must be selected for Split view to be a selectable option.

This new feature is available by default.

What you need to do to prepare:

This rollout will happen automatically with no admin action required. You may want to notify your users about this change and update any relevant documentation as appropriate.
