Microsoft Purview is adding a new graph called "Sensitive interactions by department" to Data Security Posture Management for AI, displaying user department data from Entra profiles. The rollout for Public Preview starts mid-June 2025, and General Availability begins late July 2025. No admin action is required.

We will soon add a new graph to Microsoft Purview Data Security Posture Management for AI that displays the departments of users interacting with AI apps. The department data is from a user’s profile in Entra.

When this will happen:
Public Preview: We will begin rolling out mid-June 2025 (previously early May) and expect to complete by mid-June 2025 (previously early May).
General Availability (Worldwide): We will begin rolling out late July 2025 (previously early June) and expect to complete by late July 2025 (previously early June).
How this will affect your organization:
The new graph in Microsoft Purview Data Security Posture Management for AI is called Sensitive interactions by department:
The graph will be added by default in Microsoft Purview Data Security Posture Management for AI.
What you need to do to prepare:
This rollout will happen automatically by the specified date with no admin action required before the rollout.
