Summary
Microsoft Viva Connections will have advanced analytics available from mid-May 2024. The new analytics include 90-day daily and aggregated data, monthly data for the last 12 months, and month-over-month retention and returning user metrics. We are rolling out advanced analytics for Microsoft Viva Connections. The additional features will be available in the existing Viva Connections analytics page, accessible through Viva Connections on desktop or through Settings on the org home site.
Note: Advanced analytics will only be available to organizations with Microsoft Viva Suite or Microsoft Viva Communications and Communities licenses for their users.

When this will happen:
General Availability (Worldwide): We will begin rolling out mid-May 2024 (previously early April) and complete by mid-June 2024 (previously late May).
How this will affect your organization:
The new advanced analytics include:
- 90-day daily data and 90-day aggregated data for all existing metrics (in addition to 7-day data and 30-day data already available)
- Monthly data for the last 12 months for metrics (exception: individual card-level metrics)
- Month-over-month retention and returning user metrics
What you need to do to prepare:
This rollout will happen automatically by the specified date with no admin action required. You may want to notify your users about this change and update any relevant documentation as appropriate.
