What and why
Microsoft is retiring calendar syncing between Microsoft Teams and Google Workspace. After this retirement, organizations will no longer be able to synchronize calendars between the two services using the calendar sync capability available through the Admin app in Teams.
This change allows us to focus our investments on supported integration experiences, including the Microsoft Teams Meeting add-on for Google Workspace.
Rollout schedule
We began notifying affected customers in August 2026. Calendar syncing between Microsoft Teams and Google Workspace will no longer be supported starting in October 2026.
